TYRELINE ROLLS OUT MICHELIN AGRICULTURE TYRES

Tyreline Distributors Limited has officially taken over the exclusive distributorship of Michelin Agriculture tyres in New Zealand.

Tyreline is a tyre and lubricants importer and wholesaler, headquartered in Hamilton, with warehouses in Hamilton, Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch.

In 1998 Tyreline became the New Zealand distributor for Michelin earthmover and industrial tyres. In 2007 Tyreline became Michelin’s distributor for passenger car, truck and bus products in New Zealand.

In 2011 the Tyreline retread factory became the first factory in Oceania to receive accreditation to produce Michelin branded retreads.

Adding the Michelin Agriculture distributorship to the Tyreline portfolio completes their ability to be the one stop shop for premium tyres.

To ensure the Michelin Agriculture tyre range is backed up with premium service, Tyreline has a network of 125 stores to offer fitting and servicing for Michelin products across New Zealand.

Tyreline managing director Grant Rushbrooke says the company began business in 1989 importing Agriculture tyres, so has a long history with the segment.

“We are very excited to bring the Michelin Agriculture range into our portfolio and strengthen our relationship with the Michelin group by becoming the exclusive distributor. Farming is a pivotal part of the New Zealand economy. Being able to provide farmers and contractors with such a great product, produced by a company that believes in and strives towards sustainability, is a privilege for Tyreline,”

Grant Rushbrooke, Managing Director

Michelin Agriculture is famous for its technology and innovation. Recently, Michelin Agriculture won a gold medal in the SIMA Innovation Awards for its breakthrough ‘2 in 1’ technology.

This technology has since been utilised in the new RoadBib tyre which has a revolutionary tread design in that it is not a traditional lugged tyre. This allows the tyre to transform itself for use both on soil or on the road.
