Adlam’s European was set up in 1966 by Neville Adlam and specialised in the servicing of Citroen’s. He was the Citroen agent in New Plymouth from 1968. The store remains the Taranaki Citroen sales and service agent. The current owner, Andrew, is an automotive engineer who has worked exclusively on Citroen’s.

In Wellington, Adlam’s European is mainly a service provider. They are also a registered motor vehicle trader and have been buying and selling Citroen’s for some years. They carry stock of mainly Genuine Citroen parts and have independent access. They are also one of few Michelin Tyre agents in Wellington.
